SnapShot Beauty

Items Needed
Paint Shop Pro/version PSPX was used to create this tutorial
6 tube/image of choice (same artist)
(a tube with a camera is preferred, but not required)
Artist I Used: Ismael Rac
work currently unavailable for purchase
filter Xero/Porcelain
filter Xero/Radiance
filter Mura Meister/Copies
filter AAA Frames/Foto Frame
font of choice

open a blank transparent canvas size 550 by 250

copy and paste tube of choice to canvas
apply filter Mura Meister/Copies: wall paper default settings

adjust/blur/gaussian blur radius 35

effects/art media effects/brush strokes
softness 1
bristles 256
width 6
opacity 0
length 15
density 26
angle 311
color black

select preset shape rectangle
line width 0
foreground and background color white
draw a rectangle horizontally across entire canvas
objects/align/center in canvas
make sure it is large enough so it is overlapping the edges
and that there is only 1/4 of above and 1/4 of below showing
convert to raster layer

selections/select all/float/defloat
select background layer
in layer palette right click on the background layer and choose promote selection to layer
selections/select none
delete the white preset shape
apply filter Xero/Radiance: change blue to 0

copy and paste tube of choice to canvas
place to left side of canvas
apply filter Xero/Porcelain: change blue to 0

close this working canvas for now

open a new canvas size 500 by 500

copy and paste 5 close up tubes to canvas
select your preset shape tool
set to rectangle
pressing shift down draw out a small sized square
convert to raster layer
selections/select all/float/defloat
selections/invert

hide the square layer
now inside the marching ants set a face inside
make sure there is no clear background when you do the face images
each tube make sure there is a face and press delete on keyboard when your face is in the ants

after you have all 5 done
crop canvas to size
selections/select all/float/defloat
on each image apply filter AAA Frames/Foto Frame: width 5, opacity 50
selections/select none

open back up your working canvas
copy and paste your little face images to the canvas

place them to the right beside each other
place the one closes to the tube at the bottom of the layer palette, and the one furthest right on the top
rotate each to the right or left by 7 degrees

now close off all the little face images
(only do the next step if your tube has a camera)
duplicate your main tube
effects/illumination effects/sunburst
now the placing of the light will all depend on where your camera is
but the rest of the settings keep the same
color white
brightness 25
horizontal 43
vertical 13
density 33
brightness 100
brightness 100

horizontal and vertical will be different

now its time to animate
name the tube layer with the light "light" and the one without "tube"
now if you dont have a camera just skip the light settings in the animation

now for the animation hide the "light" layer copy merged

take over to animation shop
paste as a new animation
frame 1 set property at 250
over in psp
unhide the "light" layer

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 2 set property to 35
in animation shop hide the "light" layer

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 3 set property to 60
in psp unhide your face on the very left hand side

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 4 set property to 300
in psp unhide your light layer

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 5 set property to 35
in psp hide your light layer

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 6 set property to 35
in psp unhide your second face layer

copy merged
in animation shop paste after current frame
frame 7 property set to 300

and continue this pattern for all of your other face images

apply all proper credits
add names/phrases as you wish
